(I prefer SIN!! ) (I think it depends on which one you'd prefer, either 747nest-HKG or 380nest-SIN ) Or a somewhat mixed nest : NRT and KIX (on JAL/JetStar) also have flights to Cairns in September

Last week I came back to Sydney after spending a few weeks in Hong Kong, Taipei and Singapore. Unfortunately I didn't get any A380 flights although I did get 777s, A330s and a 747 (on Singapore Airlines and China Airlines). Whilst in Singapore I went to the Singapore Airshow and I'll start sharing pics from the show in the Singapore Airshow 2016 thread in the next few days. Meanwhile, here are (quite) a few pics from the various airports and flights. (I hope this isn't too many pictures, It's become a megapost!) Great pictures indeed Jkkw, many thanks for sharing!! Lucky you to still get a B747, I think these get so rare nowadays For the 5th picture, that is one of the reasons why I love Singapore and this part of the world, so many interesting clouds and so wonderful sunsets piercing through them And the flights there too are so cheap, comparing to here ( ) and other continents...... Do you have a flight diary by any chance? And what will the next steps lead you to, try the A350 for example?....

Great pictures Jkkw ! The high res pics look especially awesome on my brand new laptop screen. Just got it a couple of weeks ago, and I'm finally done configuring it for use. Getting a new computer is as tedious as moving houses. Setting it up, working out bugs, acquiring and reinstalling software and licenses, migrating files, games and deciding on what to junk and what to keep...

Thank you all very much
FabienA380 I agree, it's so sad to see the 744 declining in numbers . My flight on the 747 this year was probably one of the shortest out there on the aircraft, flying from TPE to HKG with a flight time of just over 1.5 hours. It's amazing the amount of widebodies they put on that route! Yes I do have a flight diary although I've yet to set it to public, there's nothing too interesting there though, just quite a few flights to HKG and SIN to see relatives. I've got nothing planned for the near future although an A350 would be nice. One day!
stealthmanbob , I did have a pretty good trip thanks , the Singapore Airshow was great, well, maybe except the part where I forgot to put enough sunscreen on!
Baroque , I hope your laptop is worth the effort! I'll make sure the pics I upload of the static aircraft from Singapore will be at a high resolution

And the flights there too are so cheap, comparing to here ( ) and other continents...... And you can get widebody options for regional flights there too.
