It is sad to see a full service, non low cost carrier put 9 abreast in the A330s. I sure hope this isn't a growing trend, like how more and more operators are putting 10 abreast in their 777s. Hopefully the A350 will be just small enough to deter most carriers from putting 10 abreast in the aircraft.
Interesting to note how news of this change came just after Cebu Pacific received their first A330 with 22 more seats.

As I have said before (cynically ), it's all about getting 'Bums-on-seats', customer service/satisfaction is flying away (excuse the pun ). All about generating as much revenue as possible...rant, rant, rant, ggrrrrrrrr! Bring back the good old days of flying, I can remember when they actually cooked some parts of the meals on board! Ok I will calm down!

Fabien I really don't see why airport security and the Airlines get so excited when I try to start my camp stove up to warm a bowl of soup .......you'd think it was dangerous or something!
