Q. The Belugas fly past me To / from broughton nearly every day or two a day sometimes !, how many wing sets can they pick up ? A320, A330, A350 ? Or a mixture ? Attachments:

Welcome to the forum, stealthmanbob! With you counted, we now have 10 members from the UK.  Q. The Belugas fly past me To / from broughton nearly every day or two a day sometimes !, how many wing sets can they pick up ? A320, A330, A350 ? Or a mixture ? Not too sure about the A320s, but I believe the belugas can pick up one A330 aircraft wingset. However, the A350s are larger sized so only one wing can be carried at a time. The bigger new generation belugas based on the A330 are supposed to eliminate this problem allowing them to transport one A350 aircraft wingset. |

Only 10 of us in the UK, I will start recruiting ! I believe that Beluga picked up Carol Vorderman UK TV personality and brainy hottie !!! with A350 Wing while recording a BBC Wales TV documentary, Airbus had it live on Periscope.tv ? You might be able to find it and post on the correct thread ? thanks for the answers anyway

PS if we could work out how many A320/A330/A350 wings are needed each month, and the number of flights the Belugas do to North Wales ? Some mathematician should have a formula for that  ? |
