They made very short flight - the number I posted is from GCM - i.e. the shortest possible one. I wonder if there is some longer A321 flight. American longest one is LAX-JFK it is about 800 km less. And the FinnAir ones are 209 seats as well, while the AA ones are 20 seats or so less ! longest A321 regular service flight would be interesting info ? Airbus A321-200 Jetliner Tromsø to Gran Canaria 5,135 km 3,191 mi 07 hr 05 min Thomas Cook Scandinavia DK 6541

But I guess the prevailing westerly wind would make that route a no go ? But Boston to Heathrow would already be in range ?

But I guess the prevailing westerly wind would make that route a no go ? But Boston to Heathrow would already be in range ? In the case of the west wind, the plane accompanied by a separate unit of specially trained migratory birds, that attaches to the wing on the last 250 kilometers and pushed the plane to the airport.

Airbus needs more space for storage... Let's hope a lot of the occupants will free the space soon. I do believe the reasons for such a heavy load there go slowly away....
