Yeah I saw that. According to FR24 it flew straight from JNB? Seems like a really long distance to cover for an A319. But I guess it was an empty plane. According to SWAG - "Due in this afternoon from FAOR/Johannesburg via a fuel stop at DGAA/Accra is SAA4220 "Springbok 4220" A319 ZS-SFN ..landed 16:10 parking on the eCube apron" SWAG - cardiffstathan.blogspot.co.uk/A contact of mine in Wales reckons it's going for scrap! I am not so sure, it's only 12 yrs old and is leased from Orix, my guess it's for maintenance then out on lease again ? |
