Fourth Hamburg FAL to open on June 14th. "A key ingredient in Airbus’ production strategy is the fourth A320/A320neo final assembly line in Hamburg, which the company is officially opening on June 14. The line will feature more automation, as Faury wishes. The lessons learned and process changes will be incorporated into the broader Airbus manufacturing system once they have proven effective." The automation in that line is long before Faury. I would expect the biggest need for an upgrade are the two lines in TLS. I have the feeling that Faury does some "new guy" bla bla. Preparing the field to protect himself from "mistakes" his predecessors are responsible for. Automation, that Fury wishes, can be expected operational in two years. Automation that is in operation or goes in operation in the near future, has been initiated before his time. The fourth FAL in XFW together with a rate increase in BMF and TSN brings the capacity to 60 frames, even to 64 if both TSN and BFM go to 8 a month. FAL # 4 on innovation day published on the 10th of Jube 2016:

Ayy take a look, Airbus delivered a Cessna to Aeroflot! Aeroflot Delivery by ca350, on Flickr It's actually the delivery flight of an A320, MSN 8234, VP-BIL. FR24 thought it was a retired Cessna because the hex code is reused.
