Well some in airliners are guessing the VMU tests have been completed last week. What means VMU? From this Airbus document V MU(Velocity of Minimum Unstick) is In otherwords, it is the slowest speed where an aircraft can take off (Unstick) when the aircraft has its tail on the runway (Hence why there is the tail skid to minimise damage to the aircraft. [However on the first A380 VMU test, the pilots over rotated causing damage to the aircraft.]) Here's a video of the A380 undergoing VMU testing.
