JetBlue Airways signed a Letter Of Intent for 110 sets of Sharklets for it's current fleet of A320's. Installation will start in 2014.

Could be that those 110 are for pre-sharklet wings..  hence the 2014 |

Could be that those 110 are for pre-sharklet wings.. hence the 2014 Starbucks, thanks for the tip. N821JB is indeed a one-off. Produced with wings structurally ready to attach the Sharklets. The next 110 are definately for delivery from 2014. The retrofit on older A320's involves removing a "couple of metres" of the outer section of the wing and installing a replacement kit, according to Airbus. |
