Well Baroque it is not a home made engine - they only modify some produced. One serious engine of the size is here: www.pbsvb.com/customer-industries/aerospace/aircraft-engines/tj-20a-model-turbine - I know it is not the one in the model, but I do know that the development in a factory producing similar - bit slightly bigger engines (for military drones.....), APUs for helicopters....so they do have all the knowledge and technology - did cost close to 1.mil USD. So for sure it is not very simple task. They must produce a lot of those since they sell it to people for around 3000 USD. |
