The one issue I have with this is that PW and CFM were given new code numbers for the new generation engines powering the same old A320 airframe but not in the case of the A330 where both the T700 and the T7000 have the same number. Not consistent. I think it would have been better to keep the same engine codes for the A320 but change the airframe code to -800/900 or whatever like the A330neo.

The nomenclature for numbers on airframes is not consistent anyway. The change from A320ceo to A320 neo is the engine, the fuselage, wing etc. stays the same. ergo new engine code 25x 27x The change from the A330ceo to neo is more extensive. There are new winglets for the wings that do not only just have a different form, but extend the wingspan considerable. Than new engines, an electrical/electronical controlled bleed system, that are the things I now about. I have heard also about a push to reduce the weight of the frame to compensate partly for the increased weight of the engines. ergo a new model number -800/900

The winglet is complete here. Looks flatter than the A350 ones. More closer to the 787 raked wingtip shape.
