I suppose that Airbus is not committed to delivering more than one A350 in 2014, therefore one is announced, but more would be welcomed !

ILFC and Libyan Airlines have changed their orders from -800 top -900 (Libyan also ordered two more -900s) leaving only 46 orders left for the -800. I do expect all of them will be converted during 2014 and we can bury the -800

Hawaian airlines still seems to resist pressure from Airbus to convert its order to -900s. This is the toughest nut Airbus has to crack, since they really could use the -800 range.
I don't know whether we should bury the -800 altogether, or expect a new design and timetable.

I think Aeroflot has "reconfirmed" some of their ordered A350s as -800s not too long ago.

Where would they in reality need this extra range? Forget about Hawaii-Europe. Here we're talking ULR and the cost of operating these flights will not be economical to a low-yield market as Hawaii. Whether you have enough range or not

I think Aeroflot has "reconfirmed" some of their ordered A350s as -800s not too long ago. That's right, they still want eight (out of the original 22), 14 now coverted to -900.
