Does anyone know if Airbus have recorded any instances of lightning strikes on the A350s in test?  I don't know about natural lightning strikes, but at least one lightning test has been performed on the ground early in the test program. Correct. Further lightning strike tests will be done on MSN4 in the coming months. |

Because the testprogramm is on top without any problems Airbus plan for serial production
and deliveries shouldt be in:
2014 11 frames
2015 25 + 2 testplanes MSN2 and MSN 5
2016 36 + 4 A350-1000
2017 44 + 20 A350-1000
2018 60 + 20 A350-1000
2019 80 + 20 A350-1000.
Did anybody know something about this numbers, are they realy and true?
No A350-800 is planned !

United still maintains that the A350-1000 is the 747 replacement. United bets big on Boeing 787, Airbus A350At this point, based on the above statements, it's looking quite unlikely that we'll see orders for anything bigger than the A350-1000 from United. |

The -25% figure requires some caution : at least some of TAM A330s are old and being retired.
