This frame should have been in FAL (section 50) since mid-March, but no report of her arrival has been received yet.
This seems to be the first recent little snag in A350 production.
Could MSN 9 have kept its initial timeline when MSN 8 was taken out of the general schedule ?

Could MSN 9 have kept its initial timeline when MSN 8 was taken out of the general schedule ? I thought MSN9 took the place of MSN8 though. Also according to XWB, the wings were ready to be transported to Bremen in mid February, in contrast MSN7 had its wings transferred in late December and the rear fuselage was spotted in XFW in early February, so as you say, the aircraft should be in FAL. If it isn't in FAL in the next week or 2 then I'll consider it delayed or very well hidden .

Could MSN 9 have kept its initial timeline when MSN 8 was taken out of the general schedule ? I doubt it, wings for MSN8 were never seen in Broughton. The sequence is MSN 6 => 7 => 9 => 10 => 11. MSN8 is not in pre-FAL, or at least not at the point that it should be ready for FAL transport.

What I meant was : is it possible MSN 8 was initially scheduled to enter FAL one month or so after MSN 7, then was cancelled or deferred for some unknown reason, but the timeline for MSN 9 was left unchanged --> entry into FAL 2 months after MSN 7 ?

You could be right if assembly starts within the next two weeks.
