All they need to do is apply some stickers, protective sealant and voila. Yeah, and don't bother about the dirt and off colour patches after the assembly. It is a part of the "au naturel" look of the Air France livery anyways. I think Boeing will have to spray it with dirt before delivery, if not the AF crew won't be able to find it

We don't know if this will be the 500th delivery. Deliveries may be out of sequence and the first 787s were test planes. It will still be the 500th built

It might have been the 499th loaded to FAL (two FALs) and will probably be the 496th to exit FAL, slower speeed in FAL Charlston SC !

I was close with my guess of 496th pull out of FAL !

"Another production milestone is the role out of LN 500 for AerCap/Air France. Even though the line number is 500, it is the 497th 787 pulled out of Boeing's plants (not including the static and fatigue test frame). I'm not sure which air frame will be the 500th rolled out."
