Thank you, helios91, for your step by step instructions. It was what I was familiar with before the flickr change. But now, every picture for which I try to get a link shows this...even for your picture. I fear that Flickr hates me! HELP!

Fabien please organize us to pay for larger space on proboards !
To fight it with flicker is MADNESS. It will only eventually end with "this image is not available" in time and the pictures are lost to general populace.

Ex: Matt Cawby also couple of Toulouse spotters. Paying for more space won't help in these cases because if you attach the photos of these people the can sue you for copyright.

Just to clarify, you will not get image not available unless the Flickr photographer removed or modify his photo. Since the old forum till now I don't recall we got "This image not available" to any picture from A380_TLS_A350.

For some pictures, it only works when you're logged in to flickr. Could you confirm this by trying to get the link for helios' picture above? It doesn't make sense though. Some photographers also restrict the use of thumbnail in Flickr. Ex: Matt Cawby also couple of Toulouse spotters. Paying for more space won't help in these cases because if you attach the photos of these people the can sue you for copyright. Well, here's the thing. I tried to obtain the links for the very same pictures you guys have posted here, like the ones by A380_Toulouse and even Helios' instructions above. I still keep getting the same result...

Voila Airbus Industrie Airbus A350-941 cn 002 F-WWCF by Clément Alloing - CAphotography, on Flickr When I log out, I get the same as what you get in your above post. Fabien please organize us to pay for larger space on proboards ! To fight it with flicker is MADNESS. Just to clarify, you will not get image not available unless the Flickr photographer removed or modify his photo. Since the old forum till now I don't recall we got "This image not available" to any picture from A380_TLS_A350. and furthermore, the images that are attached by users (which is using up our attachment usage limit) are mostly taken/created by users and not images taken by others that we are sharing. If we create a A380.boards.net flickr account or manage our own separate accounts, we could avoid the issues that you've mentioned. Admittedly, if a user decides to delete their flickr account, then all of their images will be lost. This can be avoided if we create some sort of a group account.

This will help, but I still do believe that to pay for more space here is better solution. Please do not discuss copyright - I am sure this is completely different issue.
