Though I will say I'm casually enjoying the games now that the Stanley Cup is over with. Costa Rica already messed up my bracket.

the hockey fanatic in me laughs hysterically at the thought of a player being carried off the field on a stretcher over a twisted ankle I like hockey too. Was delighted to watch the LA Kings take the cup. Usually root for the Habs, although my home team is the Maple Leafs, but if it isn't them, I support the most Canadian team out there. I also love FOOTBALL! *cough* I too hate it when players over-dramatise their injuries but it doesn't really stop me from enjoying the game as a whole.

Pepe is an ugly player....by all means Haha! Well, Mueller was trying to make the most of it, and referee didn't pay attention. But that aggression by Pepe was totally unnecessary and cost them badly. Baroque...I like Hockey as well, but not on ice Lol! Ah yes, field hockey. I'm aware of it and I know the Germans and the Dutch are very good at it too. And... I can see a very happy section on this board after today's result. Still working on updating the stats.

My pseudo does nothing to conceal my French flag, so I may as well seize the opportunity to tip my hat to our team (you never know - it might be the only opportunity for congratulations) !
I wish to point out that striker Benzema made history as being associated with the first goal ever recorded after official use of video replay by the referee. Benzema has not however officially scored that goal, which has been classified as an autogoal by the Hondurian goal-keeper. Benzema, who scored two other goals, is therefore considered in France as the author of a rare feat : having scored 2,5 goals in one match.

I'll root for any team EXCEPT the Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Then again that's because I've been a Red Wings fan since birth and I have way too many reasons to list to justify my hatred for Chicago's ridiculously bandwagon fan base. As for the World Cup, wake me up for the best of 16.

and the US beat Ghana 2-1. If this were any other country like Spain, I'd be impressed.

My pseudo does nothing to conceal my French flag, so I may as well seize the opportunity to tip my hat to our team I added one more to France then! I missed the game. But I did hear about the historic first. I'm glad that FIFA has finally embraced goal-line technology no matter how ridiculous some made it out to be. I'll root for any team EXCEPT the Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Then again that's because I've been a Red Wings fan since birth and I have way too many reasons to list to justify my hatred for Chicago's ridiculously bandwagon fan base. I'm quite a bandwagon fan when it comes to hockey... It all depends on who is left in the playoffs. Goes like this... Montreal Canadiens > Any other Canadian team > The most Canadian heavy team left in the playoffs. Like you however, there are a couple of teams I would never root for. One is Boston - I just don't like the fans. The other is Vancouver - again, the fans... the 2011 riots brought Canada shame...
