Hey guys. I just felt like sharing the good news. I have recently received a job offer with Delta as a Ticketing/Gate Agent here in DTW.
I start my three week training period on Monday morning at 5:30AM. Coffee and I should become great buddies by the end of next week!
But should you find yourself changing planes in my backyard, feel free to stop by and say hello. I don't bite.

Thank you all. It's been a busy first day with my head spinning with all the new info to learn and how to advance my career in the future. One thing at a time I guess.
1) Pictures I might get in my free time. I can't make many guarantees though.
2) Gossip? Oh I can just imagine the possibilities with the 330neo rumors! Said rumors might or might not be coming out of Atlanta though. Either way, just get yourselves ready while I grab the popcorn lol.

As a little reminder, please do not forget to:
- report any 'credible rumour' about DL's A380 purchases mentioned by well informed rampers.
- be always nice to your guests at the gate, it could be a fellow board member
- take and post pictures of any A380 coming along your way even if some of those SLF nuissances have to wait a little longer
- chase any half decent looking FA, as we all would do no different

I don't even interact with many of the rampers at the moment, so no word from me about the 380 now, regardless of how credible the rumor(s) is(are). 2. I will. Just don't try and crowd around the door if I need to go down the jetbridge for anything. 3. I'd shit myself if an A380 came to DTW, provided I don't go into cardiac arrest first! 4. If I find one, I'd be surprised. Most of the FAs are either twice my age and really jaded, or really young but insanely busy. |
