Conner did a good job. He got things back to normal without brutality. He kept the 747-line open and now has some big new order. However they still have no straight answer to the A321neo. That is quite a surprise to me.

From the above piece : "Boeing customarily offers discounted prices to customers based on the size of the deal and for agreeing to help launch a new aircraft into service. Typical discounts reportedly range between 20-40%". Reported discount rates are distinctively higher than claimed by Flightglobal.

Looks like AS will go to all Boeing fleet again some point in the future AS has many ties with Boeing. I don't think Conner's vote in board meetings is going to change much. I see this move as a way of providing him with some perks without raising criticism.
