It can't have got back from BUD to Dubai In time to do the Dubai to LGW bit ? May be an FR24 glitch ? FR24 don't show it going back either ? FR24 is very good but NOT always perfect ?

No that is not correct. It had the callsign for BUD flight while was being prepared for it is first revenue but it never leave and the callsign was changed later to LGW callsign

BUD is obviously a mistake, there is no regular schedule A380 service to the airport .... (yet?......)..

Almost overlooked because of EON's non-stop record, but on March 1 Emirates did the first EK404/405 Dubai-Singapore-Melbourne by A380. EOJ did the maiden service. This split operation has introduced the LR A380 Down Under, until then strict ULR territory.

EOJ is on the first scheduled service to Prague on May 1. This must be the shortest A380 route from Dubai to Western Europe.

EOJ is on the first scheduled service to Prague on May 1. This must be the shortest A380 route from Dubai to Western Europe. By great circle route, Rome is approx. 100 km shorter. Real flight distance is still probably shorter to Prague as long as flights have to avoid Syrian and Iraqi airspace. Distance to the next destination will be even shorter (VIE). P.S.: just nitpicking, but Prague being in Western Europe is new to me.
