Last A330 to be completed at TSN completion center unless Chinese Airlines ordered NEO. But still just a rumor though. They could do frames there for airlines that are not from the PRC. Yes theoretically they could. But the question is will they do it. We have previous examples of Air Asia taking A320s from TSN A320 FAL. So with their massive A330neo order backlog, AirAsia X is an obvious candidate to take delivery from TSN. But as of now, I haven't heard anything about they will do A330neo (For non-CHinese airlines).

Moving all outfitting back to TLS would just strain the capacity there. Some of the capacity used for the A330 when production was in full swing, over 100 frames a year, is now used for the A350.

Airbus did this whole investment to stimulate demand from China. Something must be going on as Airbus had wanted to raise the A330 rate in expectation of some big chinese order but that one seems to not have happened (yet). It will be some deal: Order those birds and we in exchange bring business to your country. If not - no business in your country.
The interesting thing is: The A320-factory at Tianjin is more Hamburg related, the A330-outfitting next door Toulouse related.

There was a AIB005G doing a test flight today. Anybody know what MSN that was? According to our records it can only be MSN 1907 or MSN 1912.

Unlikely for MSN 1912, who only arrives TSN last week. Normally it takes a month or two before cabin first flight.
