No, it's on flightline. In my opinion msn 2 is more saleable than msn 4. Third prototype of a380 (msn 2) has only 2 years flight testing (from 3.11.2005 to 27.09.2007 and one flight 8.03.2012). Second prototype of a380 (msn 4) has about 9 and half years flight testing (from 18.10.2005 to 2.06.2015) and should be destined for museum after withdrawn from service. Can you supply a source for all this please?
Because, AFAIK, msn002 will be going to the Aeroscopia Museum. Msn004 is now stored, but will be available for future testflights.

Ok, so taking MSN 2 out of the equation, that still leaves about 11 frames all available by 2018: 2 ex TG 2 ex MS 2 ex BC 5 ex SQ What would it take to get them to a common standard? Would it be worth it?

..... and of course a380.boards.net. Less then two months ago:
I have been told today that MSN2 will join the Aeroscopia Museum at the end of the year or early 2016.

I'm wondering if Airbus could 'specialise' in A380-refurbishing, other than airlines doing it themselves? (BA or others)....
Inevitably the production will go down smoothly, and there could be one or two bays from the FAL at TLS taken out for other uses like refurbishing, or perhaps also at XFW, where already it seems that 2 OF bays aren't used anymore....

Airbus could definitely support the A380 second-hand market in many ways, especially when a customer operating A380s wants to take a few additional used frames. As the supply of second-hand A380s will be very limited until the next decade, I could see BA, for instance, adding a mix of new and used frames.
As regards Fabien's idea of refurbishing old frames in XFW, I don't know if it would best done in-house or at other facilities. I remember however that in Airbus' agreement with Amedeo, the price of a post-lease refurbishment is capped to Amedeo's advantage.
