HiFly's first A380, part of the early-built aircraft that almost had bespoke wiring, and procured in a market with little to no demand for A380s, must be very cheap. That must help to break even. Agree. On top of that, to make these second hand frames more attractive (so the new frames and existing fleet in turn to maintain their value better), Airbus may have agreed to cover part of full maintenance bill, making it even cheaper to operate this single frame.

It even says "we need more than two or three", awesome! Btw, still waiting for the announcement of the 'for the whole Summer' customer...

The Hi Fly A380 is literally the hope for the A380. Look at how much has it accomplish. It visit numerous of airports that the A380 has never been to, it rescue airlines who currently has problems with their own jets. Oh and in regards of the "Hi Fly outlines role as management platform for used A380s", I fully agree with the fact that the A380 is ahead of its time.
Also, any speculation what livery will the second Hi Fly A380 sport?
