Well, I suppose EK's A380 will come from London City and BA's from Sharjah
Seems to me this "person familiar with the project" does not have any authority to speak about the subject (exactly why they are always anonymous in the US) or better shut up completely because he/she has no idea what he/she is talking about

On the contrary, the person probably is an insider who likes to talk about what he knows, even though talking to a journalist or any outsider is against company policy.

Oh please, an insider who does not know where BA & EK A380's are coming from Most probably because he is not a high-level executive. He may be involved in the works, he has been briefed on what is going on in general, but the routes were not part of the briefing. Good journalists know how to make such people talk : give them the feeling of their own importance ... But don't forget that there is only so much that they know.

One would be naive enough to guess that ANYONE around air-transport knows what end where BA + EK have their home base. This is really weird. Anyway they were successful enough to create this discussion

I wonder from where the number of 544 is coming? Most A380s are configured for less passengers as we all know. Probably not so well researched article from the city, where the headquarters of Boeing are.

Rio is ready too Though AF now is flying an A380 to Rio, whether the airport is ready is debatable since AF is facing many airport problems.
