I just wonder how long will those 3 757 with Aer Lingus stay ?
My guess - not too long.

All the naming of various pre-order instruments is confusing. OK it is LoI now. It was MoU in February. If it is order we will see in the xls. It's the other way round, it was a LoI in Feb and now it's either a MoU of a firm order (it doesn't say which it is).

Nice to see the A330 still picking up orders. There seems to be a lull in A350 orders this year however.

The A350 backlog is huge, 7-8 years if we take a production rate of 10 per month. The A330 backlog on the other hand is rather small thus needs more attention.

It has the feeling of new frames for me, why else that picture with Fabrice Brégier? Maybe, but anyhow I think Airbus is mainly interested in Volotea's stated intention to replace all its 717s by A319s. Whether the first batch consists of new or used A319s is unimportant, what matters is the following larger orders.

Volotea could replace its whole fleet with A319s coming off lease, all their current 717s are leased.

The press release was from Feb so it was a LoI in Feb. Anyway, these are just technicalities, I'm sure it will be firmed eventually and as you say, we'll just have to wait for the XLSs The -300s are for Aer Lingus to be delivered in 2016, the -200s are for Iberia which will be delivered in 2017 and the A320neos will be for any airline in the group to be delivered between 2018 and 2021. www.iairgroup.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=240949&p=irol-newsArticle_Print&ID=2107058Regarding Volotea, it makes sense for them to move away from the 717, it's increasingly difficult for them to obtain anymore 717s since they'd need another carrier to retire their 717s before anymore are available so moving to the A319 will increase the supply of available aircraft, allowing them to continue their growth.
