THX Fabien, but I'm still unsatisfied: Mme was with me and she didn't see the fat whale pure against the sky, she only heard the motors. 19 minutes later wasn't much better: The light was so low, compare it with an ND-Filter of 60%. In fact it was dark. That's why I chose ISO 3200 (never done before on daylight) and nearly open lens. Worst conditions ever and that on this special event! I hope Tobias made a nice video. I told him via whatsapp, that Qatar will arrive, he made it to Finki in time. Wunderbar!

All A380 for the Middle East customers have been delivered from XFW. And there could be over crowding at the delivery centre in TLS. That needs some correction: Emirates EDK has been the only EK frame to have been delivered from Toulouse. Qatar so far received only APA and APB in Hamburg.

One other option which we saw before, is changing a defective engine in TLS. That would than have been the reason for the trip to TLS. I saw her on radar in Toulouse on Friday with a callsign that suggested she was doing an engine test, although she seemed to be parked near the delivery center.

I uploaded the video now. The A380 did a good job at drying the runway Thanks to Linie 9 for notifying me, i made it to the airfield just in time!
