Is ir really the delivery schedule?
I don't think they will receive frames in 2015... They will start delivery next year...

I have a feeling that Iberia isn't behind these slots. Given that Airbus's desire for these 7 slots resulted in the cancellation of those aircraft, I doubt that they would use those slots to secure an incremental order that would give them a net gain of 1 order but rather I'd imagine they'd use the slots to help win orders from new customers where the A350 is in competition from the 787 or 777. Also since this order involves options being firmed, I would have thought that the production slots for the options would have been secured when the original order was made I fully agree. An option has its own pre-agreed delivery slot, that's why airlines usually have to pay for it (a purchase right is a different matter, it has no specific timeline). This has nothing to do with the SQ cancellation. The cancellation may point to a major new order (I certainly hope so), but it could also be linked to DL's order, if this is how Airbus found 2017/2018 slots.

As it look like - Airbus still might be able to ramp-up well beyond 10 pcs if really needed so.... I also think those 4 pcs in 2015 are not realistic..... The free slots are by the table 2018-2024 1pc/year..... So how realistic all this is ?!?! As always - we will see

Interesting article, I said before when they ordered the last batch of B787s that I thought they were over expanding then, now I am sure they are ! Not sure what the purpose of a Picture of a USAF C5 Galaxy has to do with the story though, unless they are expanding into military transport as well

Well ... I doubt it. I don't think Airbus would agree to the cancellation of seven SQ A350s (with a hefty payment to SQ for the slots) just to book the same number of additional orders from ET. Airbus's target must be a much larger order. I can only think of DL's latest order, or EK's forthcoming order if it goes to Airbus.

You are wrong, not to book the same number of additional orders from Ethiopian Airlines, but 20 a350-1000.
