Does this mean that they cancelled 7 frames and replace them with 7 ULR versions?

it's interesting that didn't change total number of commitments for a350 from SIA: before a359 ULR order they have - 63 orders and 20 options after a359 ULR order they have - 67 orders and 16 options Looks like they are not placing additional order for 4 more aircraft but only exercise 4 options into orders.

Well, for Airbus it is nevertheless 4 additional orders. It's natural to firm your options first, you never know whether you are going to need all of them, or not. SQ's options also must come with favourable slots.
