That was always the plan I believe. Still, that must be challenging ... It would probably mean beating the 2016 delivery goal by a large margin.

Not really, up to MSN 80 gives some ~ 55 deliveries, 5 more than predicted.

If they can deliver upto MSN 81 then that's 58 in the year. (81 - 5 test 900s - 3 test 1000s - 15 delivered before 2016 = 58)

Though not all Cathay A350s up to MSN 81 will be delivered, their business class seat is heavily delayed.

Zodiac's production is supposed to be back to normal in Q2 2016, if we believe what Bregier said at Airbus' January press conference. Does this mean that Zodiac will be able to catch back before year-end ?

The way I understand it the Cathay business class seat issues are not related to the Zodiac production issues. I understood Cathay requested a last minute change in the design, that resulted in a delay of the production process.
