Surprisingly, the figure changed from nine to six since February 2nd. This is a change of plan, but not a delivery deferment, since we are talking of used aircraft leases.
If new aircraft delivery dates have been changed, could fewer leased aircraft be a consequence ?

So I wonder if this is a sign they're going to be adding 787s or are they planning to convert 787 pilots to the A330 fleet (given they'd be many more 787 pilots in Japan)

I was fortunate to hear an address by the CEO of AirAsia X today and if I heard correctly I believe he said they'd start receiving the neo in around 6 months time.

Just for information, the “bringing airbus to Malaysia” is about local government initiative to ask Airbus to setup at least an MRO centre or maybe with finishing line in Malaysia.
