It was announced that those first two will start AisAsia X first European route which will be to PRG in SEP or OCT 2019.
It is a bit too far for A333 in LCC configuration - so the route was waiting for the neo. Was announced by our (czech) premier on his twitter after his meeting with Thai authoriries and Mr.Fernandes.
As always we will see.

Lease inside Air Asia Group: www.ch-aviation.com/portal/news/78381-airasia-to-wet-lease-a330-from-airasia-xfull text: "AirAsia (AK, Kuala Lumpur Int'l) has announced in a stock market filing that it will wet-lease a single A330-300 from its long-haul subsidiary AirAsia X (D7, Kuala Lumpur Int'l) for the period between May 31 and June 16, 2019. ch-aviation schedule data indicates that AirAsia will deploy the aircraft 10x weekly between Kuala Lumpur Int'l and Kota Kinabalu. "As the Aircraft will be on the ground and not used during the wet lease period, the Agreement will therefore fully utilise the Aircraft and additionally facilitate or support AirAsia's initiative to operate more flights during the festive break in the month of May and June 2019," the LCC said in a statement. AirAsia will pay MYR2.2 million ringgits (USD520,000) to its subsidiary for the lease. The A330-300 will become AirAsia's only widebody aircraft. The airline currently operates sixty-seven A320-200s and twenty-nine A320-200neo. AirAsia X, for its part, operates twenty-four A330-300s and no narrowbody aircraft."
