Was this a delivery flight ? Or a site seeing tour At least it would have been good for pilot training!

Well they do need one refueling stop on this journey, but no more...... They do not need - TLS-LPA is 1242 nm - almost empty ATR72-600 should make easily 2000 i.e. .....

I was in Lanzarote when PR-AQX ATR 72 was delivered, and it flew direct Tolouse to Lanzarote, no fuel stop.
PS I think later that evening it did its next leg down to Cape Verde and then the next day the hop over the Atlantic ?

I am off on holidays to Lanzarote Sun 4th till Thursday 15th of October, so if anyone sees any ATRs or A320s heading my way on delivery please send me a message. I can see the approach from the apartment balcony, and can get to the end of the runway in less than 15 mins for pictures etc

Is that P2-ATR the first ATR72600-combi?.... It is a combi but I'm not sure if it is the first to fly though as they already certified it by the 15th of Oct. You can see the main deck cargo door outline just behind the cockpit.
