I've emailed the airline directly, it looks like the ATR 42-600 hasn't been certified by the FAA yet......

Slightly OT. Are there any aircraft destined for Iran that Boeing has started construction on?

While a long time ATR operator, the Danish airline and ACMI operator DAT, will take delivery of two new ATR-72-600. One in September and one in October, and will be the first time they take delivery of a brand new aircraft. To be leaset from Avation Plc. Quite short time to delivery, so wonder if this are aircraft built for someone else, maybe Iran, that had to find a new owner and operator?
