This article is bull. Reducing frequency to BOS/MIA/IAH because of A320 delays

Wow he was expecting the A320s to fly to the USA Quote - "Akbar Al Baker claimed that Qatar Airways should have had 5 A320neos in service by this summer. As a result of the delays, it was forced to reduce flight frequency of 15 routes to Boston, Houston and Miami among others."

Perhaps QR should not have launched new routes before the aircraft have arrived.

This article is bull. Reducing frequency to BOS/MIA/IAH because of A320 delays They lumped together A320 and A350 issues. They probably don't know the difference.

So, although the headline of that article states outright
what they write about this in the main text sounds a lot less dramatic:
To me, being "allowed to cancel" has a very different meaning from "cancelling". So, what is the actual status of that order now?

is it me or does that news article make no sense? mixing Us Destinations with A320NEO order! saying Qatar walked away from first Airplane and could walk away from more, but headlines say it cancels $5.3Bn order. notwithstanding, we heard all that last week anyhow. nothing new in teh Article. except a hyped headline.

Latest Airbus order book doesn't show a cancellation.

To me it means NOTHING worth mentioning is happening. At least, nothing that cannot be reversed ! Sure enough QR has declined to take delivery of one aircraft, but this may change when the airline is satisfied with the engines.
