Albeit deliveries are running way behind, is it just a matter of time before these frames are repainted and delivered to other customers? there are only some many things you can do to the interior of an A320.

Why ? I think QR will take them as soon as the followings conditions are met. 1 - The airline is satisfied that the aircraft meet agreed specifications ; Airbus officially raising the maximum outside temperature at take off from 50°C to 55°C (a major issue for QR) may end the dispute. This should happen later this month. 2 - An agreement between Airbus and QR settles QR's compensation claims.

thanks, wasn't aware of point 2. all i saw was Qatar cancels orders. I interpret that has them not accepting the first 3 frames....period.

Compensation has never been mentioned in public, but why do you think AAB repeatedly mentions losses incurred by his airline as a consequence of delivery delays ? He is making his legal case ... until they agree on some settlement.

Is that where engine installation happens? Or is it just a sign that they've move from storage and some work will eventually be performed.

Do you know which frame it is?.. I think 6772 (A7-AJB) is the only one in XFW. -AJC (6829) also to go to Indigo.

I wonder whether these frames are among those that have already been officially canceled by QR ...
