Who knows it this even will be an A319neo. Your site says it is haha, i'll take that as a compliment. 😃 I have seen people fight about what I have my site, even on airliners.net (🤦🏼♂️). As much as I appreciate the attention to my Project, I'm always going to stay neutral and say what I always say: whatever you see on there is never 100% final. 😉

Aviance has cancelled its 20 A319neo orders. So what is the status for the orderbook now?

319neo is DEAD completely replaced by A220-300 .....
Those Chinese might buy it, those VIPs too. Anyway they do it just for pride - to have a complete line.

At least A319ceo has proven its high altitude capabilities but not yet for A220, so let’s wait for more order from China.

I disagree with this easy criticism. - The fact that an aircraft has a niche market doesn't make it dead, in my opinion. - I don't think the main A319ceo replacement is the A223, most airlines have upsized to the A320neo. - Finally, I don't think Airbus makes this model out of pride, it's doing it because it is cheap to design, certify and produce, and useful to have for some customers. Not all sub-types need to be best-sellers - as long as the family is being produced at a high rate, there is no problem in having a few A319neo on the same line.

Not all sub-types need to be best-sellers - as long as the family is being produced at a high rate, there is no problem in having a few A319neo on the same line. I of course exagerated a bit..... but remember when A319 (ceo) came it was in very wide use. Look at Easy jet and others with hundreds of pieces, 1476pcs was delivered. This time is away - replaced by A320 since more people do travel. Also the A319neo was started much earlier before the CS came. In the time this decision was made, and money spent, they had no idea the CS (A220) will come. I am very sure that if this decision would be done now - no A319neo would come. That was what I wanted to say. So we will for sure see few, maybe few dozen pieces of the A319neo to appear, but overall the financial effect of this subtype is for sure going to be NEGATIVE. I do believe that the situation with the A319neo is the same as was with the A318 about 10 years back.
