Fabrice Bregier says he plans that the A319 ceo neo will be certified next year based on current customer demand. A321neoLR might hve priority over the A319neo, A319neo might might count on an EIS somewhere in 2019, after the A321neoLR EIS (2019-Q2)?..

As reported in January: Fabrice Bregier says he plans that the A319 ceo neo will be certified next year based on current customer demand. If certification is due for next year, the A319neo doesn't have to fly until mid-2017 at the earliest.

The A319neo is more or less ready, while the A321neoLR is in a development stage. So starting certification and testing of the A319neo this year shouldn't affect the A321neoLR

But the question is whether or not MSN 6464 will be CFM or P&W?
Based purely on the photos MSN 6464 is A319-151N and not A319-171N, unless the initial description of those engines are incorrect. Perhaps Airbus switched engines on the MSN's?

The engine will be replaced by LEAP-1A later. Why should a LEAP replaced by a LEAP??? MSN 6464 was planned acc. different to be an -171N P&W GTF. If you look on the picture it is obviously not. Beside the big letters "LEAP" on the nacelle, you can see the not shiny core outlet which indentifies it as a LEAP and not a GTF.
