Actually they have 20 and plan to have 20 at the end of 2019. So nothing is open for this year. Planespotters.net shows only 18 delivered. They do not count MSN 9075 and 9152 as delivered but stored. Checking FR24 this seems to the case. So I guess Spirit will finally take them next year and did not count them so far. I guess MSN 9341 and 9342 have good chances to be delivered this year.

Planespotters net does not make a distinction, who owns the frame if stored. So to understand if a frame is delivered or not, the information under a380.boards.net/thread/1628/frames-delivered-which-left-airbus on this our blog is the most recent and exact.

Both have left TLS and are stored in SBD. Checking FR24 confirms that they are not in services. www.planespotters.net/airframe/airbus-a320-n927nk-spirit-airlines/34w4j9www.planespotters.net/airframe/airbus-a320-n928nk-spirit-airlines/e5op7qThe Airbus spreadsheet count them as delivered to Aercap(Spirit). These are Tianjin NTUs. So I guess the status is a little bit more complicate and planespotters.net is not really wrong. I also guess Spirit is not counting them in their books far. It is very interesting and show the weird situation with AFS and all the other stuff. Of course I know the thread I have created and do sometimes updates;-)

They could be delivered to a leasing company, rather than the Airbus Financial Service. The question would be who owns them. If it is AFS, it is Airbus and I would agree with not delivered. But if it is some leasing company, than it is delivered and out of the hands of Airbus. AFS owns of course also frames that are delivered, but the should be active at an airline or are returned to Airbus. Planespotters have also a list of frames for AFS, but you do not find an A320 family frame on it. The list consists of A340 only. Planespotters are not very exact with ownership of frames. My example would be Air Atlantic Icelandic, they owned the frames, supplied the crew and MRO, but the frames were registered in Saudi Arabia.

I also guess Spirit is not counting them in their books far. No they don't. Actually, they are not even registered in the US yet

Fully agree, but my point was more that we will still see the delivery of 9341+9432 this year to achieve the 20 frames planned by Spirit.

I guess Spirit are much more interested in taking deliveries of Mobile built frames and not TLS or XFW built ones ?

The situation seems to be clear : the aircraft have been delivered by Airbus to the lessor, but for some unknown reason they havn't been handed over to the airline (yet).
