What happened to the flaps and track fairing of the A320 in the background?

1 - The release describes the deal as an 'agreement' and as a 'contract', but not as 'firm'. 2 - Apparently, there is still some hurdle to clear. From the above press release : "The order will be posted on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries website as contingencies are cleared." I don't know what these 'contingencies' are. Could it be finalisation of a financial package ? |

This was widely expected, but it is still major news. Airbus' A330/A350 offering seems to have pushed the 788 out of DL's fleet.
