I wonder if Engine Alliance wil get a thank-you-and-good-bye speech There are still few more frames with EA engines in the pipeline, so Airbus won't do that.
EA will still provide maintenance and support contract to Emirates over the next 15-20 years for the 300+ engines, so EA might get a thank you, but definitely no need to say good bye.

I guess everyone have different way of counting, here are my counting of the few more frames with EA engines in the pipeline to be delivered.
- MSN197 Qatar 8th - MSN233 Etihad 9th - MSN237 Etihad 10th - MSN235 Qatar 9th - MSN254 Qatar 10th
And there are still possibilities that Qatar and Etihad could convert their 3 & 5 options to order. I remain positive, especially with Qatar.

This topic is about Emirates. A "thank-you-and-good-bye speech" would apply to Emirates as they are the customer. There are no further EA frames for Emirates in the pipeline.

There are still few more frames with EA engines in the pipeline, so Airbus won't do that. --> That's for Airbus. It's all in simple English.
Did I say "there are still few more frames with EA engines in the pipeline for Emirates?" No. The comments were for different party, why link them together and why we argue about this?
If Emirates is really that happy with EA, they wouldn't switch to RR.

Nobody claimed that Airbus would do a "thank-you-and-good-bye" speech. Engine contracts are between airline and engine manufacturer. The suggestion was that EA might do a "thank-you-and-good-bye" speech.
This topic is about Emirates, so I don't understand why you need to bring up other airlines. The speech suggestion was clearly meant between EA and EK.

As has been said, they will cooperate for years to come. This is why I wouldn't expect any specific farewell atmosphere to be present today. They are and remain partners even with Trents to come from now on.
