As we both know I was exagerating..... But still the production seems to run smooth at BO for last two years. I wonder when AB having much much more sold planes will at least catch up on deliveries ? AB don't have problems with the frames of the A350 or the A320neo, just seats for one and engines for the other, not ABs fault AB will catch up big time in the second half of the year, I hope !

Airbus should be very close to Boeing in deliveries from 2018 or 2019 onwards.

I wonder when AB having much much more sold planes will at least catch up on deliveries ? All the information is out there, I'm surprised this question keeps returning. For the coming years, the following is planned: A320 family ramping-up towards 60 per month, up from 42 today. A330 family at 7 per month, up from 6 today. A350 family at 10 per month, up from 3 today. A380 at 2 (?) per month, down from 2.5 today. That's about 80 monthly deliveries in 2019/2020.

People are too much focusing on the Boeing vs Airbus debate. Both companies are just doing their business, selling and producing aircraft. Airbus will ramp-up as much as they believe is required to address their backlog. It doesn't really matters what Boeing does.

Don't you find monthly or quaterly progress interesting ? Of course it is (I check the monthly update by A and B as soon as they are available). And if we compare deliveries to the plan it is o.k., but there are many news articles which just simply write "Airbus lacks behind Boeing", but it is expected since years for years.
