Great month for Boeing. It seems Bo knows how to produce, Ab knows how to sell but the production seems to lack.....
It's a great month, as is often the case in the last month of a quarter. Boeing's monthly numbers are scrutinised. Do you remember how their lower than expected full year guidance made the company share plummet ?
As expected, the YTD total is slightly lower than Q1 2015, but the difference is mainly in 748 and 767 deliveries.
As regards Airbus, it's only a matter of ramping up new programmes. A350 in my opinion should soon be back on track (when Zodiac starts to catch back on business seat deliveries), whereas A320neo production is temporarily hindered by the P&W version problems.
I think saying 'Boeing knows how to produce' is a stretch, if you remember the problems they encountered with the 787.
