This will be the new LCC for Air Caraibes. One A359 in 2017 and another one in March 2018. Don't have a photo I can post yet of the livery, but I can tell you it looks solid They also get two brand new A333s in the new MTOW version (believe its 242t right)? First one June 2016 next one 2017. All planes to be based in ORY and I guess they will use the Air Caraibes order.

I wonder how the split will be between various orders and were will the fifth go to? Groupe Dubreuil has one -900 on order and 4 are to be leased from AerCap.
Unless the one Dubreuil ordered is for yet another airline

This is really crazy - small airline divides itself ? I do not understand the sense and what will be the benefit of such a step ?

No, the parent company behind Air Caraibes created a new airline. I don't see the point of setting up another small subsiduary ? Why have 4 planes flying under one name and then another 4 or 5 flying under another name ? It does not make much sense, all the duplicated costs of branding, uniforms, marketing, websites, catering etc etc what's the point, just run one airline with differently configured aircraft on some of the routes !

Air Caraibes is a Martinique and Guadaloupe based airlines focusing on routes to and from these island to mainland France and intra-Caribian routes. FrenchBlue is a Paris based (ORY) airline set up to provide cheap airfares to and from France to French overseas territories and dominions, and popular French longhaul tourist destinations While some cost gets duplicated, some synergies should be found, such as within training, catering, fleet management, mainteinance, etc. Notice that FrenchBlue actually went for the "odd" PW4000 engine on their A330s, similar

I guess the creation of French Blue is an attempt to create an international brand alongside a French one, Air Caraïbes.
