Former Latam PR-XTK will join Delta Airlines as N575DZ. Probably more ex-Latam A350 will join Delta Airlines. In my opinion there will be total 13 ex-Latam a350-900 in Delta fleet as Delta reserved a total of 13 N-Numbers in the range N570DZ-N582DZ: Two more N-Numbers Delta reserved for a350 used frames (568dz, 569dz) 29 Oct 2021, shortly after second lease deal (msn 24 and 27). Msn 24 will be probably registered as n568dz and msn 27 as n569dz.
There are 6 remaining reserved registrations for a350 used frames, not yet allocated to msn (from n577dz to n582dz). Looks like third lease deal will contain 6 frames, apart from 4 known msn (35, 45, 79 and 363) two more unknown msn. In my opinion, there maybe 2 frames (msn 226 and 245) contractually delivered to LATAM, but never entered service with LATAM and later leased from Avolon to Hainan and SAA (actually stored in TEV).

According to ATDB next 2 deliveries of new a350 for Delta (after msn 530 and 545):
msn 580 may 2022
msn 588 july 2022
7 used a350 leased from Aercap (msn 48,64, 200, 250, 265, 282, 313) are in MRO/Conversion at VCV, for service entry in june 2022. Another 2 used a350 (msn 24 and 27 - both leased from VMO aircraft leasing) are in MRO/Conversion at VCV too, but service entry is unknown.

Despite this, in my opinion 10 a350-900 orders, planned for delivery from 2025 to 2026 will be converted to a330-900neo orders.

The PR for firming the 12 A220 options says that Delta operates 28 A350. So Far they have 19 factory frames + 6 frames fro LATAM intoduced or in the process of being introduced to the Delta fleet, with possibility of MSN48 to fly to SIN. What are the other two frames? fly.airbus.com/3XDe3N9 |
