So much for those who said that Air Asia would never take its A350s, and would convert its order to the A330neo (which admittedly offers unbeatable economics in the 9-abreast configuration they have chosen) !
Air Asia is one of Airbus best customers. They should get the best deal from Airbus.
Production at a rate 13 per month does not seem to be supported by the present state of demand. Even 10 per month might not be sustainable for more than a few years.

On the production list, the two to Japan Airlines is listed as A350-942. Are RR coming with an updated or different Trent XWB then?
