Will this year break 2016 record? Why not, there will be new WB and NB records. 700 plus X A bit of a drop off on the WB front, lower A380s and A330s. Then engine issues for the A320 neo might cause lower figures as well !

I imagine the A320 series production will start out at 46 frames a month in the beginning of 2017 and grow to 48 a month to the end of 2017. Average for the year 47 frames a month giving about 560 frames over the year.
The A330 production rate will move to 7 from 6 a month yielding somewhat less than 80 frames.
The A350 production will reach more than 80 frames during the year.
A380 deliveries will not go down to 12 frames in 2017, their are to many in the pipeline. My guess would be not less than 17 frames.
That would make it:
560 A320 series deliveries 75 A330 deliveries 85 A350 deliveries and 17 A380 deliveries
All together not less than 737 frames delivered by airbus in 2017, with 177 wide bodies in the mix.

Exactly that was my original reasoning - we will see well over 700 and I am in agreement with mjoelnir, i also do believe it to be closer to 750 than 700 - somewhere in between.
