Only 40 narrowbodies in September ... Is this a new low in A320 family production ? I hope we'll see a strong rebound as early as this month !

Well NEO deliveries have increased in September. For some reason, CEO deliveries are lagging behind.

Could it be engines being slowly delivered all around? The ceo engines could be slow because the producers have already ramped down and have calculated with less ceo production.

That is possible, but then more A320neo should have been in storage. Pre-assembly seems to be running at 50+ aircraft per month now, but deliveries are nowhere close that figure.

There are at least 40 GTF frames in storage, about 10 to 15 LEAP frames and do we really see if some frames are ceo if we can not read the MSN? The pictures in the last month could easily add up to over 70 frames in storage.

For the first time deliveries of the 320neo surpassed the 320 ceo's.

For the first time deliveries of the 320neo surpassed the 320 ceo's. This is true if you take only A320s (not A321s) into account. The overall balance is still in favour of the -ceo family. Unfortunately, year-to-date narrowbody deliveries lag behind last year numbers. Delays in engine deliveries are taking a toll, let's hope manufacturers catch up before year-end. A350 deliveries, however, keep improving.
