Look like A320ceo, YTD they have added 17 to their outstanding A320neo orders of around 400. A sign they are very optimistic (hopefully not overly), or probably couldn't get enough A320neo in time. Could it related to LEAP ramp up issue? Yep, ceos or probably couldn't get enough A320neo in time. I'm guessing that'll be the case

End-of-line A320ceo orders come either from bargain hunters or airlines needing more lift ASAP. Air Asia likely is in the latter group, as it tries to grow its ventures in different countries.

It missed the Flightglobal update of 1700 h yesterday though so Boeing appears officially to have won on that site at least! I must say that the show seems to have been a very quiet affair from Airbus' point of view - less briefings it seems than normal, or perhaps somehow I missed them.
