Assume this is a new order, or just allocation of an existing IAG order? Haven't all of IAG's orders been allocated (at least I believe they are in the Airbus O&D Spreadsheets). |

So, this is just a decision by IAG to allocate some of its orders to Iberia. This explains why no mention of it was made at the recent Paris air show.

I'll make two remarks :
- This is a remarkable order for Airbus, especially the 40 A350s. Commercial results for Airbus widebodies had been somewhat disappointing this year, this order significantly improves YTD numbers. We'll have to wait to know the details, though.
- Just a few days after Bregier lost leadership over commercial aircraft sales, Enders seems to confirm it by ostensibly standing under the spotlight at the ceremony. We might have to forget the days when Bregier and Leahy were joking together at such events. Yet, this is a special case, since the GTA was signed during President Xi Jin Ping's visit to Germany - of course, Enders had to attend the ceremony.
