AFAIK the FAA has said it wants a single final package handed over by Boeing. The FAA said they don't want to get into detail requests they want the final solution that fullfills their FAR-requirements. It sounded like Boeing had hoped for more of a dialogue concerning modifications required. My take is, that Boeing is playing chicken with the regulators, trying to find a minimum solution they can get away with, rather than working down the list of complaints by the various regulators. It seems like Boeing held back on telling the FAA about the lies reported to the DoJ in the hopes of not pissing them off and getting a quick pass on RTS. With last week's news, this might have taken a turn for the worse and hopefully, the FAA will now see every reason to not trust Boeing on quick fixes and do a thorough review before approving it again.

Wonder if other airlines will ask for the same. But 1 mill per plane is like 1-2% of the purchase price. Doesn't sound that big...

This hearing just brought out the worst of Muilenberg and Co. He cannot answer anything and is so empty in his words.
Glad to see the panel not holding back on the evidence.

It is more looking at actual price, and not just the list price Latest list price per unit is about ~$120 million. I took $50-100 million as a range for the actual price paid. $1 million is about 1-2% of that, probably closer to the 2%. Would you say it is more?

Scott mentioned some point last year or a year before, a 787 now is ~ 120M -> 737 should be close to 50 M range.
