Pamela actually refers to the name of Airbus's end of life and recycling research project. I believe the A380 static test frame also went through this project. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAMELA_Project

I think that was the fatigue test specimen? Ouch...this frame went through so much torture, look at those acupuncture needles sticking out all over.
